Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are always a lot of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles on the market, but there must be a thing that you’ve hooked into, or caught onto? A thing that triggered a transformation or even a major healing. So, what was it?”

“Trust,” I said.

Consider your daily life since it is apparently nowadays with regards to the story. How do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I do believe my a course in miracles authors  safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who’s my source?” So whenever we speak about the last stage of the awakening being pure trust, it’s simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and rely upon most of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. It’s kind of like creating a big house of cards, stacking on one card after the other. Then a good wind arrives and poof, it’s just blown over. It can’t even stand a little gust of wind. It’s so frail. It’s so temporary. It’s so transitory; It was this sense of placing rely upon the Spirit and withdrawing rely upon the rest; all those items that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we rely upon those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy? It certainly comes down seriously to the essence of who’s my buddy? Can it be Spirit or matter? Can it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried that certain?So you’re asking the question, “When someone dies or is apparently dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all of this is heading is to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will reveal is that everything is mental and that everything is really a hallucination. That is a world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, is not reality at all. There’s no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to create his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the connection between thought and form. His lessons begin with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I have given everything I see all this is it’s for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way as much as number 4, “These thoughts do not mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He’s discussing thoughts. First He’s discussing perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes back with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 … perception, perception, perception, perception, perception … and then number 10, “My thoughts do not mean anything.” You can see he’s trying to melt everything together and show the last veil or stage of awakening, which will be trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time and energy to teach us there’s no such thing as time, to take us back compared to that timeless moment that’s the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us that they’re all illusions and that they’re all equally meaningless. That’s precisely the way of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work with the mind to loosen the attachments from the investment in all kinds of things. What kind of things can you spend money on, nowadays?
